With nearly a full squad to choose from, this has been one of the most difficult selections we have been faced with this season, made even more difficult with the importance of the game and visiting the division champions. Training has had that extra edge to it these last few weeks, rugby is no longer just a 15 man game or even a match day squad it is choosing the players for that match from the club squad and as such makes the coaches role in selection a job that not many are envious of. Some of the lads are naturally disappointed at not being selected but they will be there cheering the lads on knowing that they have played their part in getting us to this position.

Congratulations to the Hamilton players, coaches, committee and supporters on winning the league, consistently good throughout the season they are worthy winners.

Games between both clubs have always been entertaining and closely fought encounters, as well as a lot of skills on show, this weekends game will be no different.as we look to follow in there footsteps into division 1 rugby next season. For us this is a step but not the final one as we still have much to do.

There will be a celebratory party mood at Leigh Bent this Saturday as they celebrate their success, we are looking for a good support to come along and support the lads in what is a crucial game. As always, on behalf of the lads thank you for your support.
