This accolade acknowledges the development role that clubs and schools have played in the rugby journeys of those who have gone on to reach the pinnacle of the sport in these islands, in our case, Finn Russell (Lion #835), Howden Player of the Series in Australia.

They say that success has many fathers and we were only one step in Finn's amazing journey, but we hope that generations of young players and their coaches will be inspired by his time at Falkirk to achieve their full potential, wherever that takes them.

Carol and Declan from Howden Kirkintilloch presented the Club with a fine commemorative plaque as well as a Howden ball, signed by another Lions legend, Gavin Hastings (Lion #606).
