Coach Lear's thoughts on last weeks game and Saturdays fixture against Haddington

The game versus Whitecraigs was a great win to get. They are a well organised team and with weather like we had at the weekend it was very hard to play.

With their limited but very effective game plan suiting the conditions, it was up to us to try to break down the resolute defence they presented. Great credit must go to the boys for playing for the full 80 minutes.

This week, we play Haddington in the reverse fixture. They have had a tough year so far, however in our visit to them, they played some attractive running rugby and were a danger to us, so we will need to be on top of our game to beat them at the weekend.

In training, we have been focusing on our defensive line speed as well as our accuracy in attack. Two areas where we need to keep improving.

This is our last home game of 2014 and we hope you all can come along and support the lads as they look to finish off with a bang.
