U15/16 Boys and U16 Girls teams both win their respective Saltire Energy Caledonia Cup finals

The finals day was the culmination of rounds of regional leagues, cups, shields and bowls and is the largest regional rugby finals day in the country.

Falkirk's U16 girls played their Shield final at Gordonian's Countesswells grounds in Aberdeen, running out comfortable 52-29 winners against Caithness RFC.

Our U18 girls were also due to play a Shield final against Caithness, however that was postponed and will be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, closer to home, Falkirk's U15/16 boys edged an enthralling Bowl final 32-29 at Horne Park, with Ethan Hodge holding his nerve to slot the winning penalty in the final action of the game.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches for a remarkable first season back in Falkirk colours, to the supporters and proud parents who roared the teams on in both finals and to the many volunteers who helped us host the Boys' final at very short notice.
