Heartfelt thanks go out from Falkirk Rugby Club to all those residents who voted for our Community Choices Place Based Capital and Small Grant applications, which were both successful.

Thanks also to the many volunteers who helped publicise our bids.

The place-based capital award of £146k completes our funding package for the transformation of the Sunnyside Pavilion into a multi-purpose community run asset.

The work can now commence in April and will continue over the summer. The award also allows us to extend the volume of lit grass surfaces with additional floodlighting.

The small grant award will help further extend our usable training areas by improving problem drainage areas.

In what are challenging times for community sport, we're proud to be #MakingRugbyCentral, providing other local clubs with access to high quality facilities, and working with partner organisations like Falkirk's Mental Health Association to deliver additional health and wellbeing support for local people.
